In a blatant violation of human rights, the SDF militia raided the Mashlab neighborhood in Raqqa city and arrested four brothers from the same family:

• Ahmed Ali al-Ahmed
• Luay Ali al-Ahmed
• Hussein Ali al-Ahmed
• Bassam Ali al-Ahmed

This was done in response to a comment posted on Facebook, in yet another attack on freedom of expression and an attempt to silence dissent.

We, the National Authority for the Syrian Jazeera:

• Hold the SDF militia fully responsible for this flagrant violation of civilians' rights.

• Affirm our categorical rejection of the policy of repression and arbitrary arrests against the people of the Jazeera.

• Call on the Syrian government to issue an official statement condemning these practices and criminalizing the SDF.

• Demand that the Ministry of Information and all national media outlets shed light on the daily violations occurring in the Syrian Jazeera to ensure the truth is revealed and justice is served.

Freedom of expression is a sacred right, and any attempt to suppress it is unacceptable in all its forms. #FreedomForTheSyrianJazeera

في إنتهاك صارخ لحقوق الإنسان أقدمت ميليشيا “قسد” على مداهمة حي المشلب في مدينة الرقة، واعتقلت أربعة أشقاء من عائلة واحدة، وهم:
•أحمد علي الأحمد
•لؤي علي الأحمد
•حسين علي الأحمد
•بسام علي الأحمد

وذلك على خلفية تعليق نُشر على موقع “فيسبوك”، في استهداف جديد لحرية التعبير وتكميم الأفواه.

إننا في الهيئة الوطنية للجزيرة العربية السورية:
•نحمّل ميليشيا “قسد” المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذا الانتهاك الصارخ لحقوق المدنيين.
•نؤكد رفضنا القاطع لسياسة القمع والاعتقالات التعسفية بحق أبناء الجزيرة.
•ندعو الحكومة السورية إلى إصدار موقف رسمي يدين هذه الممارسات وتجريم منظمة قسد .
•ونطالب وزارة الإعلام وجميع المؤسسات الإعلامية الوطنية بتسليط الضوء على ما يجري في الجزيرة السورية من خروقات يومية، لضمان كشف الحقائق وتحقيق العدالة.

حرية التعبير حق مقدس، وأي محاولة لقمعه مرفوضة بكل أشكالها
