The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the killing of Diaa Zoba’a Musleh al-Hardani, a prominent leader in the ISIS terrorist group, during an operation conducted by its forces in the city of al-Bab in the Aleppo countryside of northern Syria.

CENTCOM explained in a statement on Friday that the operation also resulted in the deaths of two of al-Hardani’s sons, who were members of the organization. The statement noted that three women and three children were present at the site but were unharmed.

The statement affirmed that the deceased posed a threat to US and coalition forces, as well as the new Syrian government.

وأوضحت "سنتكوم" في بيان، الجمعة، أن العملية أسفرت أيضاً عن مقتل اثنين من أبناء الحرداني، وهما من عناصر التنظيم، مشيرة إلى أن الموقع كان يضم ثلاث نساء وثلاثة أطفال لم يتعرضوا للأذى.
وأكد البيان أن القتلى كانوا يشكلون "تهديداً للقوات الأميركية وقوات التحالف، إضافة إلى الحكومة السورية الجديدة".
