With support from the International Coalition, our forces arrest ISIS members in the Raqqa countryside.

Our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with support from the International Coalition, conducted a successful security operation on Wednesday, targeting and arresting several members of ISIS terrorist cells in the Al-Hamrat and Al-Jadeeda areas of the Raqqa countryside.

The operation was the result of meticulous planning by our forces, following the collection of reliable information and evidence regarding the terrorist cell's activities. Our forces were able to arrest two ISIS members: Abdul Jabbar Al-Obeid Al-Sawadi and Mahdi Shanan Al-Abdullah. Two other individuals, Abdul-Ilah Al-Sawadi and Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Ziyad, were also arrested. These two were cooperating with the cell and providing it with information about our forces' movements and military positions.

With support from the International Coalition, our forces arrested several ISIS members in the Al-Hamrat and Al-Jadeeda areas of the Raqqa countryside. During initial investigations, the captured terrorists confessed to belonging to the ISIS terrorist organization and their involvement in carrying out terrorist activities in the region. They admitted to coordinating and communicating with other cells, targeting our forces' military positions, and attempting to carry out individual assassinations.

This security operation is of paramount importance as it comes within the framework of our forces' proactive efforts to dismantle ISIS cells before they can execute their criminal plans. It contributed to thwarting terrorist operations that targeted the region's security and the safety of civilians and our fighters. The operation also dealt a direct blow to the organization's logistical and intelligence support networks, severing its communication and movement channels in the Raqqa countryside. This strengthens security and stability and confirms our forces' high level of readiness to protect their areas.

The Syrian Democratic Forces affirm their continued pursuit and dismantling of all cells of the terrorist organization through ongoing security operations. They are exerting every effort to besiege and eliminate the organization, prevent its attempts to undermine social cohesion, and enhance security and stability in our regions.

نفذت قواتنا، قوات سوريا الديمقراطية، وبدعم من التحالف الدولي، أول أمس، الأربعاء، عملية أمنية نوعية استهدفت إلقاء القبض على عدد من عناصر خلايا تنظيم "داعش" الإرهابي في منطقتي "الحمرات" و"الجديدة" بريف الرقة.
وجاءت العملية نتيجة تخطيط دقيق ومحكم من قبل قواتنا، عقب جمع معلومات وأدلة موثوقة حول نشاطات الخلية الإرهابية، حيث تمكنت القوات من إلقاء القبض على اثنين من عناصر التنظيم، وهما الإرهابيان "عبد الجبار العبيد السوادي" و**"مهدي شنان العبد الله"، إضافة إلى شخصين آخرين هما "عبد الإله السوادي" و"محمد العبد الزياد"**، كانا يتعاونان مع الخلية ويعملان على تزويدها بمعلومات حول تحركات قواتنا ومواقعها العسكرية.
وخلال التحقيقات الأولية، أقرّ الإرهابيون المقبوض عليهم بانتمائهم لتنظيم "داعش" الإرهابي، وضلوعهم في تنفيذ أنشطة إرهابية بالمنطقة، من خلال التنسيق والتواصل مع خلايا أخرى، إضافة إلى تورطهم في استهداف نقاط عسكرية لقواتنا، ومحاولتهم تنفيذ عمليات اغتيال فردية.
وتكتسب هذه العملية الأمنية أهمية بالغة لكونها جاءت في سياق الجهود الاستباقية التي تبذلها قواتنا لضرب خلايا تنظيم "داعش" قبل تمكنها من تنفيذ مخططاتها الإجرامية، حيث أسهمت في إحباط عمليات إرهابية كانت تستهدف أمن المنطقة وسلامة المدنيين ومقاتلي قواتنا. كما شكّلت العملية ضربة مباشرة لشبكات الدعم اللوجستي والاستخباراتي للتنظيم، وقطعت قنوات تواصله وتحركاته في ريف الرقة، ما يعزز من حالة الاستقرار الأمني ويؤكد الجاهزية العالية لقواتنا في حماية مناطقها.
وتؤكد قوات سوريا الديمقراطية استمرارها في ملاحقة جميع خلايا التنظيم الإرهابي وتفكيكها، عبر عمليات أمنية متواصلة، وبذل كل الجهود لمحاصرة التنظيم والقضاء عليه، ومنع محاولاته الرامية إلى زعزعة التماسك المجتمعي، وتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في مناطقنا.
