"And never think that those who have been killed in the cause of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision."

With profound sorrow and grief, and the anguish of loss and separation, I announce to you the martyrdom of my beloved uncle, the martyr Mahmoud Ali Zaqoul (Abu Muhammad), and his only son, the martyr Muhammad Mahmoud Zaqoul, whom he had after 10 years of marriage.

Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.

May God grant us patience in our grief over your loss. You have broken our hearts, Uncle.
