The founder of World Central Kitchen, José Andrés, expressed his sorrow over the deaths of members of the organization in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza, while Australia, which confirmed the death of one of its citizens in the attack, demanded that those responsible be held accountable.

The death toll from the Israeli airstrike that targeted a World Central Kitchen vehicle in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip on Monday evening rose to seven, including six foreigners.
