Child Killed Amid Renewed Airstrikes and Artillery Bombardment of Gaza

Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip today, Thursday, through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and helicopter gunship fire. These violations persist despite the ceasefire agreement, while data from the Ministry of Health shows a continued rise in the number of casualties since the start of the aggression.

A child was killed this evening, succumbing to critical wounds sustained from live ammunition fired by the Israeli occupation army in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.

Reports indicate that the occupation army shot and killed five-year-old Samih Shehab Samih Maarouf in Beit Lahia.

واصلت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، اليوم الخميس، خروقاتها لوقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة، عبر غارات جوية وقصف مدفعي وإطلاق نار من طائرات مروحية، في ظل استمرار الانتهاكات رغم وقف إطلاق النار، بينما أظهرت بيانات وزارة الصحة ارتفاعًا متواصلًا في أعداد الضحايا منذ اندلاع العدوان.

واستشهد طفل، مساء اليوم، متأثرا بجروحه الحرجة، التي أصيب بها بالرصاص الحي، أطلقه جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي صوبه، في بيت لاهيا شمال قطاع غزة.

وأفادت بأن جيش الاحتلال أطلق الرصاص صوب الطفل سميح شهاب سميح معروف (5 أعوام) في بيت لاهيا، ما أسفر عن استشهاده.
