I have just received news of the martyrdom of Hajja Umm Talaat Aqel, who sustained a head injury. May God have mercy on her and grant her Paradise. She was an example of patience and piety, living her life as a mother to orphans, bearing burdens with a faithful heart and dedicating her life to God. We consider her among the martyrs, though we do not presume to judge anyone before God. My deepest condolences to my dear mother-in-law, Umm Hassan Al-Najjar, to my wife, and to the honorable Aqel family. We ask God to accept her into His vast mercy and elevate her to the highest ranks of Paradise.

بلغني الآن نبأ استشها/د الحاجة أم طلعت عقل بإصابة في رأسها، رحمها الله وأسكنها فسيح جناته. كانت مثالاً للصبر والاحتساب، عاشت حياتها كأم لأيتام، تحملت الأعباء بقلب مؤمن وأمضت حياتها في سبيل الله، نحسبها من الشهداء ولا نزكي على الله أحداً. عزائي الحار لحماتي الغالية أم حسن النجار، ولزوجتي، ولآل عقل الكرام. نسأل الله أن يتقبلها بواسع رحمته ويجعل مقامها في عليين
