With profound sorrow and grief, we mourn the passing of Toastmasters icon, Toastmaster Zahraa Shaito, who tragically lost her life yesterday in the unjust airstrikes on Lebanon.

She was a teacher and mentor to us before she was a colleague on the stage.

She instilled confidence in our hearts, guided us on our path, and taught us that words carry weight and presence has an impact.

We pray that God Almighty grants her His abundant mercy and admits her to His spacious Paradise, and that He grants her family, loved ones, and colleagues patience and solace.
