No additional U.S. airstrikes in Somalia have been publicly reported by United States Africa Command as of November 18.These operations form part of a broader U.S.-supported campaign that has included 220 airstrikes since February, according to Somali Defense Minister H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi.The Defense Minister said of the strikes, “220 airstrikes have been carried out across areas stretching from Lower Juba and eastern Mudug to the mountains of Sanaag and Bari region. Around 868 terrorists have been killed, including 52 commanders from both Daesh and Al-Shabaab.”
