CALMISKAAD || US conducts three-day airstrikes against ISIS
The US government, in a brief statement, confirmed that it had carried out a series of airstrikes against ISIS in the Calmiskaad mountains of Bari (Puntland) region.
The US AFRICOM Command, which announced this news, said that the airstrikes took place from January 1st to 3rd, 2026, according to a statement issued by AFRICOM.
AFRICOM added that the airstrikes were carried out approximately 70km southeast of the city of Bosaso, but did not provide details on the losses suffered by the group.
