Medical sources told Suwayda Press that all the bodies that arrived at Suwayda National Hospital following the explosion in the industrial area have been identified: brothers Tariq and Walid Ismail al-Awar, children Ward Tariq al-Awar and Saif Ismail al-Sheikh, and young man Mahmoud Ihsan Mazhar.

The sources also indicated that two people injured by shrapnel were treated at the scene.

The explosion occurred at midday in the industrial area, coinciding with interception operations in the air, according to a Suwayda Press correspondent. Conflicting reports emerged regarding the cause of the explosion, with some sources suggesting it was caused by falling debris from a missile, while others claimed it originated inside a building due to a missile left over from the war.

ووقع الانفجار في ساعات الظهيرة داخل المنطقة الصناعية، بالتزامن مع عمليات اعتراضية في الأجواء، وفق مراسل السويداء برس، حيث تضاربت المعلومات حول أسبابه بين مصادر تحدثت عن سقوط بقايا صاروخ، ومصادر أخرى قالت إن الانفجار كان من داخل المبنى نتيجة صاروخ من مخلفات الحرب.
