Five bodies were recovered from under the rubble and transferred to Suwaida National Hospital. Among those identified were brothers Tariq and Walid al-Awar, and a child named Ward Tariq al-Awar.

The National Guard imposed a precautionary security cordon around the damaged building in the industrial area to secure the work of the Civil Defense teams, who are continuing their search operation among the rubble.

The explosion occurred in the building at the same time as interception operations in the air, but there are conflicting reports and testimonies regarding its cause, pending the results of the investigation.
