Child Samih Shehab Marouf Killed by Israeli Fire in Beit Lahia

Gaza - Wathiq News - A child was killed this evening, Thursday, succumbing to critical wounds sustained from live ammunition fired by the Israeli occupation army in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the occupation army shot and killed five-year-old Samih Shehab Samih Marouf in Beit Lahia.

Earlier today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation army carried out airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting Gaza City and areas in the central and southern Gaza Strip, in violation of the ceasefire agreement in place since October 10, 2025.

Local sources reported that Israeli artillery launched heavy shelling throughout the night on the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City, including the Zeitoun, Shuja'iyya, and Tuffah areas, coinciding with continuous and intense gunfire from helicopters.

Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike inside areas controlled by the army east of Gaza City.

West of the city, Israeli gunboats fired heavily with machine guns near the coast of the Shati refugee camp and the tents of displaced people in the fishermen's port.

In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery shelled the eastern part of Juhr ad-Dik and the northeast of the Bureij refugee camp.

In the southern Gaza Strip, warplanes launched two airstrikes inside what is known as the "Yellow Line" east of Khan Younis, coinciding with artillery shelling that targeted the al-Mawasi area northwest of Rafah.

The "Yellow Line" is the line to which the Israeli occupation army withdrew inside Gaza as part of the second phase of US President Donald Trump's plan to end the war on the Strip. It separates the areas under its complete occupation and control from the areas where Palestinians are permitted to be present.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that the death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,136 martyrs and 171,839 wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.

The ministry explained that one martyr and nine wounded individuals arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours.

It noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 651, and the total number of wounded to 1,741, while 756 bodies have been recovered.

The ministry clarified that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them at this time.

غزة - واثق نيوز-  استشهد طفل، مساء اليوم الخميس، متأثرا بجروحه الحرجة، التي أصيب بها بالرصاص الحي، أطلقه جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي صوبه، في بيت لاهيا شمال قطاع غزة.

وذكرت مصادر محلية، بأن جيش الاحتلال أطلق الرصاص صوب الطفل سميح شهاب سميح معروف (5 أعوام) في بيت لاهيا، ما أسفر عن استشهاده.

وكان  جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي نفذ صباح اليوم الخميس، قصفا جويا ومدفعيا استهدف مدينة غزة ومناطق في وسط وجنوبي القطاع، ضمن خروقاته لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار منذ 10 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول 2025.

وذكرت  مصادر محلية إن المدفعية الإسرائيلية شنت قصفاً مكثفاً طوال الليل على الأحياء الشرقية لمدينة غزة، شمل مناطق الزيتون والشجاعية والتفاح، بالتزامن مع إطلاق نار كثيف ومتواصل من الطيران المروحي.

كما نفذ الطيران الحربي غارة داخل مناطق سيطرة الجيش شرقي مدينة غزة.

وغربي المدينة، أطلقت الزوارق الحربية الإسرائيلية نيران رشاشاتها بكثافة قرب ساحل مخيم الشاطئ وخيام النازحين في ميناء الصيادين.

وفي وسط القطاع، استهدفت المدفعية الإسرائيلية بالقذائف شرقي منطقة جحر الديك، وشمال شرقي مخيم البريج.

أما في جنوب القطاع، شن الطيران الحربي غارتين داخل ما يسمى “الخط الأصفر” شرقي مدينة خان يونس، بالتزامن مع قصف مدفعي استهدف منطقة المواصي شمال غربي مدينة رفح.

و”الخط الأصفر” هو الخط الذي انسحب إليه جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي داخل غزة في إطار المرحلة الثانية من خطة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب لإنهاء الحرب على القطاع، ويفصل بين مناطق احتلاله وسيطرته التامة والمناطق التي يسمح للفلسطينيين بالتواجد فيه.

إلى ذلك أعلنت وزارة الصحة في قطاع غزة، اليوم الخميس، ارتفاع حصيلة عدوان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على قطاع غزة إلى 72,136 شهيدا، و171,839 مصابا، منذ بدء العدوان في السابع من تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر 2023.

وأوضحت الوزارة، أنه وصل إلى مستشفيات قطاع غزة خلال الساعات الـ24 الماضية، شهيد و9 إصابات.

وأشارت إلى أن إجمالي الشهداء منذ وقف إطلاق النار في 11 تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر الماضي قد ارتفع إلى 651، وإجمالي الإصابات إلى 1741، فيما جرى انتشال 756 جثمانا.

وأوضحت الوزارة أنه لا يزال عددا من الضحايا تحت الركام وفي الطرقات، في ظل عجز طواقم الإسعاف والدفاع المدني عن الوصول إليهم حتى هذه اللحظة.
