The Almighty said: “And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of God as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” With profound sorrow and grief, we mourn the loss of our friend, brother, and beloved, Mu'tasim Maher Faris, who was martyred after being shot by the Israeli army east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

We ask God to have mercy on him and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.

To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.

ببالغ الحزن والأسى، ننعى صديقي واخي وحبيبي / معتصم ماهر فارس، الذي ارتقى إثر إصابته برصاص الجيش الإسرائيلي شرقي مدينة دير البلح وسط قطاع غزة.
نسأل الله أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته، وأن يلهم أهله وذويه الصبر والسلوان.
