Congratulations, Mu'tasim!
You were martyred while fasting, during the last ten days of Ramadan, at the time of acceptance and answered prayers, at sunset, as you were returning from work on a Friday night. The funeral prayer was held for you on the last Friday of Ramadan, after the Friday prayer, in a dignified ceremony attended by all your loved ones. All these are reasons that call me to patience, but how difficult is this separation, and how painful it is! Nothing consoles me except the honor of your martyrdom.
I offer my condolences to myself and my family on your martyrdom.
I ask God for mercy and forgiveness for you, and for you to be granted the highest ranks with the prophets, the righteous, and the martyrs, my beloved.

هنيئاً لك يا معتصم
استشهدت صائماً وفي العشرة الأواخر من رمضان في ساعات القبول والاستجابة في الغروب وانت عائد من عملك وفي ليلة الجمعة وصُليَ عليك يوم الجمعة الأخيرة من رمضان وبعد صلاة الجمعة لتكون جنازةً مشرفةً يشارك فيها جميع الأحباب، كلها أسبابٌ تدعوني للصبر، لكن ما اصعب الفراق وما أصعبه من فراق وما يعزّيني إلا كرامات شهادتك،
أعزّي نفسي وعائلتي باستشهادك
أسأل الله لك الرحمة والمغفرة والمراتب العليا مع الأنبياء والصديقين والشهداء يا حبيبي.
