Two Palestinians were killed and others wounded early Saturday morning in an Israeli airstrike targeting a police checkpoint near the Al-Amal neighborhood, north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian local sources reported on Saturday that Israeli forces carried out artillery shelling and gunfire in various areas east of the Gaza Strip, continuing their violations of the ceasefire agreement.

They indicated that Israeli artillery shelled the northern part of Beit Lahia city in the northern Gaza Strip and other areas, resulting in injuries.

وأفادت مصادر محلية فلسطينية اليوم السبت، بأن قوات الاحـ ـتلال نفذت عمليات قصف مدفعي وإطلاق نار في مناطق متفرقة شرقي قطاع غزة، مع تواصل خروقاتها لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.
وأشارت إلى أن مدفعية الاحـ ـتلال قصفت شمالي مدينة بيت لاهيا شمالي القطاع ومناطق متفرقة أخرى ما أدى لوقوع إصابات.
