Airwars assessment

According to several sources on Twitter, at least two civilians died in a US airstrike in the morning in Sirte, one of them a child.

The sources did not give clear estimates on casualties, though the pictures show two people most likely dead. Two more injured children can be spotted in the images.

One source also reported five ISIS fighters dead in the attack.

The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the vicinity of the water tower in the city of Sirte (سرت‎), for which the generic coordinates are:31.208883, 16.592891. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
