Reports and images published on social media on Saturday evening, March 6, indicate the occurrence of massive explosions and widespread fires following airstrikes on various parts of Tehran and Karaj.

The oil depots of the Tehran Refinery, Shahran, Aghdasiyeh in Tehran, and the Fardis oil depot in Karaj were among the targets of the attack on Saturday night.

In recent days, the Islamic Republic has carried out drone attacks on several oil facilities in the region.
