Yesterday we received the devastating news that our dear colleague Hamid Amini lost his life in an aerial attack while on personal travel to Lamerd, in southern Iran, on Saturday 28 February.
Hamid joined DNV in 2011 after completing his PhD at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and for 15 years he was a highly respected and valued colleague in DNV, both in Norway and in Germany, as a Principal Engineer in our Maritime Business Area.
Hamid had many close colleagues in Norway and Germany, as well as in many other countries. His professionalism, competence, and dedication were greatly appreciated by those who worked with him, and he will be deeply missed.
