The Bahraini government has revealed the party responsible for the attacks on Sitra Island.

The National Communication Centre of the Kingdom of Bahrain announced that the injuries and damage in the Sitra area were the result of Iranian drone attacks on civilian residential areas. The Centre stated that "this attack occurred in the early morning hours, causing significant damage to a number of civilian homes in the Sitra area. The attack has so far resulted in injuries to 32 civilians, including 4 in critical condition, among them children who were transferred to operating rooms for emergency surgery."

أعلن مركز الاتصال الوطني لحكومة مملكة البحرين أن الإصابات والأضرار التي طالت منطقة سترة هي نتيجة لهجمات إيرانية بالطائرات المسيرة على مناطق سكنية مدنية. وذكر المركز أن "هذا الاعتداء وقع في ساعات الفجر الأولى، ملحقا أضرارا جسيمة بعدد من المساكن المدنية في منطقة سترة، وقد أسفر الاعتداء حتى الآن عن إصابة 32 مدنيا، بينهم 4 في حالات حرجة، منها لأطفال أحيلوا إلى غرف العمليات لإجراء جراحات طارئة"
