وقالت مديرية الإعلام العسكري في القوات المسلحة الأردنية إن سلاح الجو الملكي اعترض صاروخين كانا موجهين لمواقع داخل أراضي المملكة، وقام بإسقاطهما بكل كفاءة.
من جانبه أعلن الناطق الاعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام أن الوحدات المعنية تعاملت خلال ال 24 ساعة الماضية مع 17 بلاغاً لحوادث سقوط شظايا ومقذوفات.
وأشار الناطق الإعلامي إلى تعرض شخصين للإصابة بمحافظة الزرقاء، بسبب هذه الحوادث وحالتهما متوسطة، فيما وقعت أضرار مادية طالت منزلاً بمحافظة الزرقاء نتيجة ارتداد صوت انفجار ومركبة بمحافظة الكرك نتيجة سقوط شظية.
وجدد الناطق الإعلامي التحذير من التجمهر أو الاقتراب أو العبث بأي جسم غريب أو شظايا لخطورتها، مؤكداً ضرورة الالتزام بالنصائح والتعليمات التي تم نشرها من خلال الجهات الرسمية.
