Abu Dhabi, March 26 (QNA) – The Abu Dhabi Media Office announced today the death of two people of Indian and Pakistani nationality, and the injury of three others of Emirati, Jordanian, and Indian nationality, after fragments of an Iranian ballistic missile fell on Sweihan Street in Abu Dhabi.

In a statement published on its official X platform, the office said the incident occurred after air defenses intercepted a ballistic missile, describing the victims' injuries as serious to moderate.

The statement also noted damage to several vehicles in the incident and urged the public to obtain information only from official sources and to avoid spreading rumors or unverified information.

أبو ظبي في 26 مارس /قنا/ أعلن مكتب أبو ظبي الإعلامي، اليوم، عن مقتل شخصين من الجنسية الهندية والباكستانية، وإصابة ثلاثة أشخاص آخرين من الجنسية الإماراتية والأردنية والهندية، إثر سقوط شظايا صاروخ باليستي إيراني في شارع "سويحان" بالعاصمة أبوظبي.

وقال المكتب، في بيان نشره عبر حسابه الرسمي على منصة "إكس"، إن الحادث وقع إثر اعتراض الدفاعات الجوية صاروخا باليستيا، واصفا إصابة الضحايا بالبليغة والمتوسطة.

كما نوه إلى تضرر عدد من المركبات في الحادث، داعيا إلى استقاء المعلومات من المصادر الرسمية فقط وتجنب تداول الشائعات أو المعلومات غير الموثوقة.
