Operation Roundup, which began May 1 for the defeat of ISIS in the Middle Euphrates River Valley and Iraqi- Syrian border region, has continued to gain ground and remove terrorists from the battlefield through offensive operations coupled with precision Coalition strike support.

Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve and its partner forces’ operations are exerting pressure on ISIS senior leaders and associates, as well as degrading, disrupting and dismantling ISIS organizational structures throughout Iraq and Syria.

Operation Roundup will continue to target ISIS remnants as the coalition remains committed to the lasting defeat of ISIS to increase peace and stability in the region, and to protect all our homelands from ISIS’s terrorist threat.

Weekly Strike Summary

Between Nov. 4 and Nov. 10, CJTF-OIR coalition military forces conducted 150 strikes consisting of 331 engagements in Syria.

On Nov. 10 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 23 strikes consisting of 36 engagements against ISIS targets.
• Near Hajin, 23 strikes destroyed two command and control centers, one IED facility, one logistic facility, five buildings, four tunnels, two staging areas, six supply routes, one fighting position and one UAS launch site.

There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov 10, 2018.

On Nov. 9 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 19 strikes consisting of 46 engagements against ISIS targets.
• Near Hajin, 19 strikes engaged 15 tactical units, and destroyed six buildings, three tunnels, two command and control centers, one observation point, one vehicle borne IED, three supply routes and two weapons caches.

On Nov. 9 in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted one strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS targets.
• Near Lake Qadisiyyah, one strike damaged one weapons cache.

On Nov. 8 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 17 strikes consisting of 49 engagements against ISIS targets.
• Near Hajin, 19 strikes engaged three tactical units, destroyed two command and control centers, two buildings, one observation point, four supply routes, one fighting position, five weapons caches, three tunnels and one staging area.

On Nov. 8 in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted two strikes consisting of two engagements against ISIS
targets.
• Near Jazeerah desert, two strikes destroyed one building and one cave.

On Nov. 7 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 25 strikes consisting of 48 engagements against ISIS targets.
• Near Hajin, 25 strikes engaged four tactical units, and destroyed two weapons caches, four tunnels, four staging areas, four command and control centers, three fighting positions, one vehicle borne IED, one building, eight mortars, one IED facility and three supply routes.

On Nov. 7 in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted one strike consisting of one engagement against ISIS
targets.
• Near Lake Hamrin, one strike destroyed one building.

On Nov. 6 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 15 strikes consisting of 45 engagements against an ISIS targets.
• Near Hajin, 15 strikes destroyed seven supply routes, two fighting positions, two buildings, two mortars, one firing position, one staging area, two weapons caches, two observation points and three tunnels.

There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov. 6, 2018.

On Nov. 5 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 17 strikes consisting of 32 engagements against ISIS targets.
• Near Hajin, 17 strikes engaged one tactical unit, and destroyed one supply route, one weapons cache, one tunnel, three buildings, two command and control centers, four fighting positions, eight staging areas, eight mortars and one observation point.

There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov. 5, 2018.

On Nov. 4, 2018 in Syria, coalition military forces conducted 30 military strikes consisting of 71 engagements against ISIS targets.

• Near Hajin, 30 strikes [4 British] engaged 49 tactical units, and destroyed seven supply routes, 19 mortars, 13 fighting positions, one bed down location and seven staging areas.

There were no reported strikes conducted in Iraq on Nov. 4, 2018.
