A young Palestinian man was martyred and several other citizens were injured on Wednesday evening as a result of a treacherous airstrike carried out by Israeli occupation aircraft on the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, as part of the ongoing military escalation targeting residential areas and camps for displaced persons.

Medical and field sources reported that the bombing directly targeted the "Al-Sit Amira" camp located south of the city, resulting in the martyrdom of 22-year-old Abdul Rahman Qanbour, in addition to seven others sustaining injuries of varying severity, who were subsequently transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

Targeting this particular camp, which houses hundreds of displaced families from various areas, reflects the occupation's determination to pursue civilians in areas it claims are "safe," turning shelters into scenes of death and destruction, in the complete absence of any international deterrent to stop this daily bloodshed of young Palestinians.

The Context of Comprehensive Genocide
This new crime in Deir al-Balah comes as part of an unending series of acts of genocide perpetrated by Israel since October 7, 2023, with broad American and European military and political support. This genocide has not been limited to direct killings with missiles and shells, but has included policies of systematic starvation, the comprehensive destruction of infrastructure, and the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of citizens.

The occupation authorities have ignored all urgent international appeals and the orders of the International Court of Justice to immediately cease the aggression, and have continued to implement their plans aimed at erasing the Palestinian presence in the Gaza Strip by targeting all aspects of life. The targeting of young Abdul Rahman Qanbour in the prime of his life encapsulates the tragedy of an entire generation of Palestinian youth who have become targets of the Israeli war machine, which makes no distinction between combatant and civilian, and seeks to destroy the Palestinian future by draining its young human resources.

The toll of blood and widespread destruction: The ongoing war of genocide, now in its third year, has left behind catastrophic and shocking figures. The number of victims has exceeded 244,000 Palestinians, including martyrs and wounded, the vast majority of whom are women and children. More than 11,000 citizens remain missing, either under the rubble or in areas inaccessible to the occupation. Alongside the killing, this war has caused widespread destruction of residential units, hospitals, and schools, effectively erasing most of the Gaza Strip's cities and vital areas from the map and turning them into uninhabitable ruins.

But it didn't stop there. The famine resulting from the suffocating siege claimed the lives of many, mostly children, in one of the most heinous crimes against humanity in modern times, perpetrated in full view of the world. This places the global conscience and the international human rights system at a historic crossroads in the face of the horrific atrocities committed in Gaza.

Humanitarian Repercussions and the International Stance

The continued bombardment of areas in the central Gaza Strip, such as Deir al-Balah, places immense pressure on the already fragile health system. Medical personnel find themselves unable to cope with the large number of wounded amidst a severe shortage of medicines, surgical supplies, and fuel.

The massacre at the "Six-Pearl Camp" is a clear message that the occupation is continuing its existential war against the Palestinian people, using every tool of death and destruction to impose a new geographical and demographic reality.

In light of this bitter reality, popular and national demands remain steadfast in the necessity of holding the occupation leaders accountable internationally for the war crimes committed and halting the external support that fuels the machinery of extermination.

The steadfastness of the citizens in Deir al-Balah and all areas of the Gaza Strip, despite the bombing, hunger and displacement, remains the only response to the attempts at displacement and erasure, while awaiting long-awaited international justice to stop the bloodshed that affects innocent people like Abdul Rahman Qanbour and other victims of the ongoing aggression.

استشهد شاب فلسطيني وأصيب عدد آخر من المواطنين، مساء الأربعاء، جراء غارة جوية غادرة نفذتها طائرات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على مدينة دير البلح وسط قطاع غزة، في إطار التصعيد العسكري المستمر الذي يستهدف التجمعات السكنية ومخيمات النازحين. 

وأفادت مصادر طبية وميدانية بأن القصف استهدف بشكل مباشر مخيم "الست أميرة" الواقع جنوب المدينة، مما أدى إلى ارتقاء الشاب عبد الرحمن قنبور البالغ من العمر 22 عاماً، بالإضافة إلى إصابة سبعة آخرين بجروح متفاوتة الخطورة نُقلوا على إثرها إلى مستشفى شهداء الأقصى. 

إن استهداف هذا المخيم تحديداً، الذي يضم مئات العائلات النازحة من مناطق مختلفة، يعكس إصراراً احتلالياً على ملاحقة المدنيين في المناطق التي يُدعى أنها "آمنة"، وتحويل مراكز الإيواء إلى ساحات للموت والدمار، في ظل غياب تام لأي رادع دولي يوقف هذه الاستباحة اليومية للدماء الفلسطينية الشابة.

سياق الإبادة الجماعية الشاملة
تأتي هذه الجريمة الجديدة في دير البلح كجزء من سلسلة لا تنتهي من أعمال الإبادة الجماعية التي ترتكبها "إسرائيل" منذ السابع من تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2023، بدعم عسكري وسياسي أمريكي وأوروبي واسع، حيث لم تقتصر هذه الإبادة على القتل المباشر بالصواريخ والقذائف، بل شملت سياسات التجويع الممنهج، والتدمير الشامل للبنية التحتية، والتهجير القسري لمئات آلاف المواطنين.

 لقد تجاهلت سلطات الاحتلال كافة النداءات الدولية الملحة وأوامر محكمة العدل الدولية بوقف العدوان فوراً، ومضت في تنفيذ مخططاتها الرامية إلى محو الوجود الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة من خلال استهداف كافة مقومات الحياة. إن استهداف الشاب عبد الرحمن قنبور في مقتبل عمره يختصر مأساة جيل كامل من الشباب الفلسطيني الذي بات هدفاً لآلة الحرب الإسرائيلية التي لا تفرق بين مقاتل ومدني، وتسعى لتدمير المستقبل الفلسطيني عبر استنزاف طاقاته البشرية الشابة.

فاتورة الدم والدمار الشامل
خلفت حرب الإبادة الجماعية المستمرة منذ أكثر من عامين أرقاماً كارثية وصادمة، حيث تجاوز عدد الضحايا 244 ألف فلسطيني بين شهيد وجريح، تشكل النساء والأطفال النسبة الأكبر منهم، في حين لا يزال ما يزيد على 11 ألف مواطن في عداد المفقودين تحت الأنقاض أو في الطرقات التي يمنع الاحتلال الوصول إليها. وبالتوازي مع القتل، تسببت هذه الحرب في دمار شامل طال الوحدات السكنية والمستشفيات والمدارس، مما أدى إلى محو معظم مدن القطاع ومناطقه الحيوية من على الخريطة وتحويلها إلى ركام غير قابل للحياة. 

ولم يتوقف الأمر عند هذا الحد، بل أدت المجاعة الناتجة عن الحصار المطبق إلى إزهاق أرواح الكثيرين، معظمهم من الأطفال، في واحدة من أبشع الجرائم ضد الإنسانية في العصر الحديث، والتي تتم على مرأى ومسمع من العالم بأسره، مما يضع الضمير العالمي والمنظومة الحقوقية الدولية في اختبار تاريخي أمام هول الفظائع المرتكبة في غزة.

التداعيات الإنسانية والموقف الدولي
يمثل استمرار القصف على مناطق وسط القطاع مثل دير البلح ضغطاً هائلاً على المنظومة الصحية المتهالكة أصلاً، حيث تجد الكوادر الطبية نفسها عاجزة عن التعامل مع الأعداد الكبيرة من المصابين في ظل نقص حاد في الأدوية والمستلزمات الجراحية والوقود. 

إن جريمة مخيم "الست أميرة" هي رسالة واضحة بأن الاحتلال ماضٍ في حربه الوجودية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني، مستخدماً كل أدوات الفتك والدمار لفرض واقع جغرافي وديمغرافي جديد. 

وفي ظل هذا الواقع المرير، تظل المطالب الشعبية والوطنية متمسكة بضرورة المحاسبة الدولية لقادة الاحتلال على جرائم الحرب المرتكبة، ووقف الدعم الخارجي الذي يغذي آلة الإبادة. 

إن صمود المواطنين في دير البلح وكافة مناطق القطاع، رغم القصف والجوع والنزوح، يبقى هو الرد الوحيد على محاولات التهجير والمحو، بانتظار عدالة دولية طال انتظارها لوقف نزيف الدم الذي يطال الأبرياء كعبد الرحمن قنبور وغيره من ضحايا العدوان المستمر.
