Dubai: Four Injured in Falling Debris from Interception

Dubai announced a fire in a house in the Al-Bida'a area after debris from an Iranian missile fell, according to a breaking news report from Cairo News Channel.

Dubai reported: "Four people were injured as a result of falling debris from an interception."

The Dubai Media Office also reported that a drone fell on the facade of a building, and authorities are dealing with the incident.

Plumes of smoke were seen over a residential area in the UAE's commercial capital in the minutes following the explosions.

Gulf countries have been subjected to attacks by Iranian missiles and drones as part of Tehran's response to the ongoing US and Israeli attacks on Iran since February 28. These attacks have targeted military bases, US embassies, airports, ports, and vital infrastructure in the region.

The Media Office explained that firefighting teams successfully extinguished the fire completely, and are currently conducting cooling operations at the site to ensure the fire does not reignite or spread to neighboring areas. The statement indicated that Civil Defense teams responded swiftly to the report upon receiving it, deploying several firefighting teams and specialized vehicles to control the fire in record time.

Authorities confirmed that cooling and monitoring operations are ongoing at the site, as part of precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the area and prevent any potential hazards.

سقوط شظايا ناجم عن عملية اعتراض
أعلنت دبي عن اشتعال حريق في منزل بمنطقة البدع إثر سقوط شظايا صاروخ إيراني وذلك حسبما جاء في نبأ عاجل لقناة “القاهرة الإخبارية”، منذ قليل.
وأفادت دبي، :"4 مصابين جراء سقوط شظايا ناجم عن عملية اعتراض".
ومن جانبه أفاد المكتب الإعلامي لحكومة دبي بسقوط مسيرة على واجهة أحد المباني والجهات المختصة تتعامل مع الحادث.
وشوهدت سحب من الدخان فوق منطقة سكنية في العاصمة التجارية للإمارات في الدقائق التي أعقبت الانفجارات.
وتتعرض دول الخليج، لهجمات بصواريخ وطائرات مسيّرة إيرانية في إطار رد طهران على الهجوم الأمريكي والإسرائيلي المتواصل على إيران منذ 28 فبراير الماضي، حيث طالت هذه الهجمات قواعد عسكرية وسفارات أمريكية، إضافة إلى مطارات وموانئ ومنشآت حيوية في المنطقة.
وأوضح المكتب الإعلامي أن فرق الإطفاء نجحت في إخماد الحريق بشكل كامل، فيما تواصل حاليًا تنفيذ عمليات التبريد في موقع الحادث لضمان عدم تجدد النيران أو امتدادها إلى مناطق مجاورة.
وأشار البيان إلى أن فرق الدفاع المدني تعاملت بسرعة مع البلاغ فور تلقيه، حيث تم الدفع بعدد من فرق الإطفاء والآليات المتخصصة للسيطرة على الحريق في وقت قياسي.
وأكدت الجهات المعنية أن عمليات التبريد والمراقبة مستمرة في الموقع، في إطار الإجراءات الاحترازية المتبعة لضمان سلامة المنطقة ومنع أي مخاطر محتملة.
