The body of Majid Vafaei, attorney at law and a 70-percent disabled veteran of the Iran–Iraq War, was carried in a funeral procession attended by large numbers of people in Shahroud and buried in his hometown, the village of Meyghan.

Vafaei, who was a member of the Central Bar Association, was killed on 15 June while on his way to his office on Saboonchi Street in Tehran, as a result of an Israeli attack.

ایشان که عضو کانون وکلای دادگستری مرکز بود، روز ۲۵ خردادماه در مسیر رفتن به دفتر کار خود در خیابان صابونچی تهران، بر اثر حمله رژیم صهیونیستی به شهادت رسید.
