I mourn for my heroic brother, who fled the narrowness of mortality to the vastness of eternity, who drank from the fragrance of jihad and humanity, a master of resolve when men faltered, a leader when courage ran dry, my treasure, my strength, my pride, and the source of my glory, my confidant when the battle raged, and the solace of my heart in the endless nights. You fulfilled your duty, discharged your obligation, and died at my hands against the worst of God's creation, a follower of Hussein, aware of his rights, and weeping for his tragedy. You broke my back, Abu Muhammad.

May God and Hussein be with you.

أنعى إليكم أخي البطل ، الهارب من ضيقِ الفناء إلى سَعَةِ البقاء ، المُرتشِف من عبقِ الجهادِ والإنسانيّة ، سيّدُ المواقف إذا تكسّرت عِندَ صدورِ الرجالِ ، و سيّد القوم إذا شحّت المراجِل ، ذُخري و ذخيرتي و عِزّي و مَبعث إفتخاري ، أمين سرّي إذا اشتدّ الوطيس ، و أنيس قلبي في اللّيالي السّرمديّة ، قد وفيتَ ذمّتَك ، و قضيتَ الذي عليك ، و مُتّ على يديّ شرار خلق الله ، حُسينيّاً عارفاً بحقّه ، و باكياً لمُصابهِ ..
