Two alleged AQAP fighters were reported killed south of Mareb city as they drove in a vehicle. The car was reportedly destroyed in the drone strike.
This was one of four attacks listed on a Centcom press release, the first time the US military has published so much information about its counter-terrorism operations in Yemen.
Witnesses said the “drone aircraft fired two missiles at a car carrying two militants, suspected high – ranking al – Qaeda, in Alemien area, west of the city of Marib.”
