Up to four civilians may have died in a alleged US drone strike in Ismail Khel, north Waziristan, while other sources reported that between four and eight militants were killed. Several unidentified people were left wounded.

The house of Alif Deen (who died) was attacked as a body from Ob152 was being brought into a compound, as reported by al-Jazeera. Up to eight alleged militants linked to the Haqqani Network were killed including three “Arabs,” local and international media reported.

However photographer Noor Behram, cited by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism,   who visited the scene indicated possible civilian casualties, reporting: “There were four dead in the attack who were locals.”  Villagers also helped to recover the dead.

Moreover, multiple sources reported that “several” or “others” were left wounded, and until their status gains further clarification, they will be treated as possible being civilians.

All sources said that the strike was the work of the US, specifically a Predator drone.
