Up to five people, most likely militants, but possible civilians, were killed in the second of three linked airstrikes in north Waziristan on November 3rd. The first and third strike are detailed in Ob154 and Ob156.

In the second strike, taking place in Khaso Khel, missiles struck a car, killing between three and five alleged militants, most local and international news reported. A nearby house was also hit.

However, it’s unknown whether there were casualties from the strike, as one single source, Xinhua, reported the killed as “people” without providing further details.

All known sources agreed that the strike was the work of a US drone.
