In the third of three linked strikes (see Ob188 and Ob189), the US allegedly carried out a drone strike in Razmak, north Waziristan, killing up to six people and wounding three, possibly counting civilians, hereof at least one wounded child, local and international news reported.
Reports described how drones chased a vehicle, reportedly destroying it and a house, reported by some as a militant compound.
The strike, that according to a secret Pakistani record of CIA drone strikes published by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism in February 2014, hit at 0735, killed between four and six people and injured three.
Though most sources reported that the killed and wounded were militants, civilian casualties cannot be ruled out as several merely described the casualties as “people” and not as militants.
One source, the secret Pakistani document, even specified that one child was among the injured: “The killed were Mehsuds and amongst the injured one child was also included.”
Like the other two strikes on that day, all sources agreed that a US drone was behind the incident.
