An alleged US drone killed up to seven people, possibly counting civilians and injured another two as the town of Mohammad Khel in north Waziristan was struck, local and international media reported.

A car and a nearby house were struck, though sources where conflicting in terms of which was struck first. However, local tribesmen, cited by The News, said that the car, that was left completely destroyed, carried Turkmen militants while the house was used by the Taliban.

Several reported that up to six militants were killed, including two “Turkmen militants.”

However, other reports said that the strike killed up to seven “people,” indicating civilians among them.  Also, in January 2014, the Bureau of Investigative Journalism published an internal record of drone strikes, compiled by the local political authority, saying that the strike hit at 1900 and killed four locals.

All known sources attributed the strike to a US drone.
