An alleged US drone hit North Waziristan for the second time in 24 hours, killing up to four people. The drone fired two missiles at a house in Datakhel area of North Waziristan, at about 4am local time according to one report. According to Asian Age, it was a CIA-operated drone.

FOX News and Pakistan Today claimed that the drone killed three people while the other sources put the death toll at four.

The victims were alleged militants, although their identities remain unknown. Several sources spoke of a military compound that was struck.

Intelligence officials told Times of India that they didn’t have exact information on which group the militants belonged to but said the area is dominated by fighters of warlords Hafiz Gul Bahadur and the Haqqani network, said to be an ally of the Afghan Taliban.
