In numbers: 200 days of Israel’s war on Gaza

In April 2024, Al Jazeera published a story examining the civilian toll of the war 200 days into the deadly campaign.

Airwars was interviewed in reference to the scale of the civilian toll compared to other conflicts documented over the last decade of work – which at the time exceeded the number of civilian casualty incidents compared to the US and allied campaign against ISIS in eight years in Iraq and Syria.

The piece highlighted a series of incidents to exemplify the high death toll.
