The Associated Press worked with Airwars on a report related to a major investigation into civilian harm in Iran linked to the U.S. military's newest missile.

The investigation, conducted by Airwars' Rowena De Silva and Amin Doroudgar, used open source documentation to map the damage from three Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) missiles used in Lamerd, Iran, in February 2026. At least 21 civilians were killed.

The Associated Press wrote an extended feature on the findings on their news wire, which was then reposted by dozens of publications across the globe in multiple languages.
