Local sources reported the deaths of at least two civilians, a married couple, and several others injured as a result of a Coalition airstrike on the village of Hadaj West, which may also be known as Hasan al Ali village.

Al Hasaka Arabea, among several other sources, identified the couple as Abdish al-Issa and his wife Radsa Al Hardan who were killed when their house was targeted by a Coalition airstrike. Baladi News additionally mentioned that other family members were injured, but did not provide any more details.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that the bombardment took place in the evening, Euphrates Post said the raids took place around 5am. Moreover, the media outlet stated that apart from the couple, two of their children were also killed. Both the “martyrdom of a whole family” and the time of the airstrike were reiterated by Marsad al Hassaka.

Zaman al Wasl reported the highest tally of five civilians said to be killed “at dawn today as a result of shelling their house in the village of “Hassan al-Ali” (Hadaj Gharbi)”. Sana News made mention of the death of a 90-year-old-man, and his wife and son who were seriously wounded as a result of an airstrike on Hassan al Ali. It is important to note that the village of Hadaj is also known as Hassan al Ali.

For June 2nd, the Coalition stated that “On June 2 in Syria, Coalition military forces conducted eight strikes consisting of 11 engagements against Daesh targets... Near Al Shadaddi, two strikes destroyed 15 Daesh-held buildings."
French Military Strike Report
France report that the Wagram Task Force continues to support the offensive against the last pockets of Daesh present in the Euphrates Valley. Since the launch of the offensive on May 1st, it has carried out 111 shooting missions including 16 for the past week – May 30th to June 5th. Over the past week, the aircraft of Operation Chammal have carried out 20 sorties in support of local forces engaged on the ground, mainly missions of intelligence gathering and aerial reconnaissance. No strikes were carried out.
Dutch Military Strike Report
For the 2nd straight week, Dutch F-16s fired weapons near Abu Kamal and Hajin in Deir Ezzor. The Dutch MoD reported that between May 30th-June 5th, aircraft targeted ISIS fighters and logistics centers in three missions. Jets supported ground troops in 9 missions, including in Nineveh, Iraq.
