Up to two civilians were allegedly killed by LNA shelling on the Sidi Salim of Tripoli.
Afrigate News and Hona Souq Al-Khmies said that a woman was killed by shelling.
The Libya Observer reported: “A woman and her daughter were killed when a shell landed on her house in the Abu Salim municipality of Sidi Selim, the media adviser to the Ministry of Health said on Thursday.
The Abu Salim municipal council said that eight civilians were injured by the targeting of militias of war criminal Khalifa Hifter on the region, on Wednesday evening.
The areas south of Tripoli, yesterday, violent clashes between the army forces and militias Hifter after the latter’s attempt to advance in the axes of Yarmouk and Khalat Street before being defeated.”
Al Wasat wrote: “Amin al-Hashemi, media adviser at the Ministry of Health in al-Wefaq [GNA] government, said that the number of deaths from an indiscriminate shell hit a house in the Sidi Selim area (south of Tripoli) reached two.
Hashemi, in a statement to «Central Gate», said that the daughter of the woman, who also died in the incident, died of her injuries, pointing to the injury of eight other civilians, who are receiving treatment in hospitals in the capital.”
Hona Souq Al-Khmies said the incident took place near the American embassy.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
