Airwars assessment

One civilian died, and another was injured in an alleged Turkish airstrike on Termisha, Syria, according to local media.

IC Afrin reported that a 55-years-old civilian was hit and killed by a warplane yesterday night in the village of Çomezna (Mabata district).

According to Hawar, another man was wounded. It named him as 48-year-old Mohammed Omar Hamkulino of the village of Astir. He was transferred to hospital where his condition was said to be stable.

According to local media, at least nine civilians including two or three children and one woman died, and between 10 and 17 or more people were wounded following an alleged Turkish air and artillery bombardment of Mariamin, Syria.

Afrin Qalb Al-Hadath reported more than seventeen wounded and nine martyrs, including three civilian children in the village of Mariamin.

According to Delshar Afrin, two children were killed in the village of Mariamin because of the indiscriminate artillery bombardment of the village. Civilians and civilians have not evacuated the village of Mariamin are still in their homes.

According to SDF Press, Turkey targeted civilians in the village with indiscriminate shelling from heavy weapons and airstrikes. It added that the bakery had been destroyed.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights put the death toll at five including two children and a woman.

At least three of four children from the same family died, and their mother was wounded in an alleged Turkish shelling of Tarnada village near the city of Afrin, according to local media. Reports said that their home was struck.

Afrin Now reported: The death of three children and the injury of a child and his mother as a result of the barbaric shelling of the Turkish occupation of the village of Tarnada adjacent to the city of Afrin. One of the shells landed on the house of a civilian in the village of Tarnada.

The Kurdish Red Crescent and other local sources named the three civilians who were killed and two injured.

However, according to SDF Press, the three-year-old Rashid Rifaat Ibrahim died in the attack.

IC Afrin Resistance went on to report that three children were still missing under the ruins, and at least one more civilian was killed.

According to IC Afrin Resistance, four children died, and the youngest child and the mother were seriously injured.

Local media reported that three civilians were wounded in an alleged Turkish mortar attack in Siri Kanai on the Syrian-Turkish border. The victims were reportedly taken to hospital where they were in a stable condition.

According to Hawar, three people were injured in Sri Kanaia as a result of the Turkish occupation army launched mortar shells landed in the neighbourhood of the station near the border between the area of Sri Kaniyah and Bakur Kurdistan, amid the flight of Turkish reconnaissance aircraft over the skies of the region.

According to a source, the three wounded civilians had sought refuge in the hospital of Kanye for treatment. Another added that the three people were lightly injured, were treated and then left the hospital and one was transferred to the city of Qamishli to check on the health of some of her family.

At least four or five civilians died in an alleged Turkish shelling of Miska Jorin village, according to sources on the ground in Syria.

Afrin Now reported the death of four civilians, three of whom were still under the rubble. Other sources also put the death toll at four.

ANHA was among several sources publishing a video of the aftermath of the attack. It reported: “As a result of the bombing of the village of Miska Fokani in Jandrissa area, 4 civilians were killed. The Kurdish Red Crescent teams recovered the body of one martyr while the bodies of 3 civilians were still under the rubble and cannot be reached due to the continued intensive shelling of the area.”

ANHA added that Turkey had launched attacks on Jindires with heavy weapons, as well as a bombardment by military and helicopter gunships.

According to Mutlu Civiroglu, five civilians were reported killed after their home collapsed over them. The body of one victim under rubble is visible in the video.

Rok Online reported: “Our correspondent said that the Turkish artillery bombardment of the village of Kortaka in the Shara district, east of the province, led to the death of one person, amid continuing clashes in the vicinity of Shara between the protection units of the people and the Turkish forces and its Islamic militias.” Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights referred to “a number of martyrs”, reportedly counting both Kurds, Arabs and Armenians.
