A civilian was reported killed during Russian bombing of Deir al Sharqi in Idlib.

According to Baladi News, “A civilian was killed at dawn on Monday when Russian warplanes bombed town of Deir Al Sharqi in the southern countryside of Idlib. The correspondent of Baladi News said that the cities, towns and villages of the southern countryside of Idlib were exposed at dawn on Monday to heavy shelling of Russian warplanes and helicopters of the regime.”

Shaam News reported that “a civilian was also martyred by night shelling on the village of Deir Al-Sharqi.” It indicated that either Russian or regime assets may have been responsible.

Multiple sources, including @NagiNajjar, identified regime planes as being responsible and stated that barrel bombs were dropped from the planes.

The incident occured between 12:00 am and 6:00 am local time.
