One to three civilians were reported killed, and one to five wounded, in four airstrikes on Tal Mnes village, Idlib, on August 21st.
Of the civilians killed, one was a child – according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Many sources reported the targeting of a hospital and substantial damage and evacuation as a result. Sources named the damaged hospital as Al-Rahma Surgical Hospital.
In line with other sources, @IdlibPlus tweeted that “Al-Rahma hospital in Talmens town of Idlib countryside has been discharged due to being targeted by Russian warplanes with airstrikes.”
Many sources cited one killed and one injured, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights “documented the death of a citizen and a girl, as well as the injury of five others, due to barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on the residential neighborhoods in Tal Mnes village in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man.”
Shaam News reported “three martyrs in Tal Mnes.”
Smart News cited “many wounded” in the attack but did not quantify how many had been injured. Meanwhile, a number of sources documented one injured.
@SyrianCoalition stated that “Russia bombed a hospital in Idlib countryside, inflicting several casualties and leaving it out of service.”
Edlib Media Center stated that “massive destruction took place in a full residential neighborhood” as a result of the airstrikes.
Sources predominantly attributed the attack to Russian forces, yet a number also named the Syrian regime as an active belligerent in the incident.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
