Airwars assessment
Three civilians, including a woman, were killed and nine civilians, including five children and two women, were injured in alleged Russian airstrikes on the town of Shannan, Idlib governorate, on November 12th, 2019, according to local sources.
Idlib Plus reported that “three civilians, including a woman, were killed and nine others, including five children and two women, were injured as a result of Russian warplanes bombing civilian houses in Shannan village”. The director of the Civil Defense Center in the village, Subhi Ibrahim, told Smart News Agency the same numbers, and spoke of “two simultaneous raids”.
MMC identified Mousa Deeb Al Mousa as one of the killed civilians.
Syrian Civil Defence teams were able to rescue two children and a woman from underneath the rubble, according to the SCD on Facebook.
The incident occured in the afternoon.

Rafif and Salama Al Ibrahim were rescued in alleged Russian airstrikes on the town of Shannan on November 12th, 2019. According to the Syrian Civil Defence, their father was able to save Salama, while SCD forces spent over 1,5 hours to rescue her brother from underneath the rubble (via SCD on Facebook).
