One civilian was reported killed and ten others, including members of the Syrian Civil Defense, also known as White Helmets, were wounded in alleged Russia and/or Syrian regime forces cluster missiles or rocket shelling on Bkafla or Al Naher Al Abyad, near Jisr Al Shughour on November 27th 2020, according to local media.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SN4HR) said that “Ahmad Nasim, from Jisr al Shoghour city in the western suburbs of Idlib governorate, was killed as Syrian- Russian Alliance forces fired surface- to- surface missile on BKafla village, known as al Nahr al Abyad area, located in north of Jisr al Shoghour city in the western suburbs of Idlib governorate, on November 27, 2019.”

And according to White Helmets “Ali Qayqouni, Osama Al Hussein, Alaa Hawash, and Ahmad Al-Shughri, four volunteers with the Civil Defense in Idlib Directorate were injured on Wednesday night while fulfilling their humanitarian duty to help the injured, after shelling the area of Bukavla in Jisr al-Shughur countryside with three cluster rockets from Assad’s forces.

The Smart News Agency reported: “Ten civilians, including members of the Civil Defense, were wounded Wednesday [Nov 27th] in a suspected Russian missile attack on the village of Nahr al-Abyad in Jisr al-Shughour area (32 km west of Idlib) in northern Syria.

“Activists and local sources told Smart that long-range missiles, probably Russian, landed on the village, wounding five civilians and five members of the Civil Defense, who were taken to nearby hospitals.

“The source of the shelling was not known, but one observer in the area said it was fired from an area near the Russian base of Hmeimim in Latakia countryside, or from Russian troops in the Mediterranean, while other sources said the rockets were fired from the Russian camp in the town of Hayalin in Hama countryside”.
