According to the Syrian Network for Human Rights, Milad Ahmad al Fares, from al Hlubba village in the eastern suburbs of Idlib governorate, was killed in an alleged Russian airstrike on the area between al Hlubba village and Ma’ar Shamarin village in the eastern suburbs of Idlib governorate, Syria on December 19th 2019.

Local Coordination Committee Syria reported that the Russian strikes occurred at 18:29 and identified Milad Ahmad al Fares as being a journalist.

A tweet from @SkySyria_org pointed out that Russian planes were launching strikes against “the locations of terrorist organizations” without mentioning any casualties.

The majority of sources attributed the strikes to Russia and @Step_Agency specified that helicopters dropped barrel bombs.

The incident occured at 18:29:00 local time.
