One woman was reportedly injured after alleged Russian or Syrian forces fired a missile on the village of Sarja, Idlib governorate, in the evening of December 28th, 2019, according to local sources.
The Syrian Civil Defence reported on Twitter that “a woman was injured by shelling with a guided missile carrying cluster bombs this evening, Saturday [Dec 28th], by regime forces, targeting the outskirts of Sarja village.”
Our Syria reported that “a Russian Tochka missile landed on Sarja village”. It is unclear if this means if the missile itself was Russian-made or if Russian forces fired it.
Shaam News Network wrote that Russian forces launched violent airstrikes, accompanied by artillery and missile shelling on several cities and town in Idlib governorate on December 28th, including Sarja village.
The incident occured in the evening.
