One civilian was allegedly injured by a Russian airstrike on Sarja village, Idlib.
Shaam News gave a detailed account of events without mentioning civilian harm: “Today, Sunday, Russian warplanes targeted a medical hospital in the village of Sarjah in Jabal Al-Zawiya, causing great damage to the hospital and its exit from service, as part of the policy of total destruction of all life in the regions that Russia is targeting with its military campaigns.
The Idlib Free Health Directorate said that the Russian occupation aviation targeted at dawn today, Sunday, January 26, 2020, Al-Iman Hospital in Sarjeh village in Jabal Al-Zawiya, causing great damage to the hospital’s departments and equipment and its departure from the service, and the targeting injured a number of patients from the hospital’s reviewers. No injuries are reported among the medical personnel.”
HalabToday said that one man was injured and that the hospital was destroyed.
IdlibPlus, Local Coordination Committees of Syria and Syria Civil Defense also reported one injury.
Local Coordination Committees of Syria said the strike occured at 4.08am and IdlibPlus said “after midnight” as did Halab Today
The incident occured between 12:00 am and 4:08 am local time.
