One member of the Syrian Civil Defense was reported dead and two more injured by a Russian or Syrian regime airstrike.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights said: “Othman al Othman, a member of Civil Defense Bazabour center, from Nahla village in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate, was killed and two other members were injured as Syrian regime fixed- wing warplanes fired missiles near Civil Defense teams in Sarja village in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate, while they were heading to evacuate the injured of previous bombing by fixed-wing warplanes we believe were Russian, on January 27.”
Smart News wrote: “A volunteer was killed and two civil defense forces were wounded Monday night – Tuesday, as a result of aerial bombardments by the Syrian regime forces on the southern countryside of Idlib governorate, northern Syria.
A civil defense source told ‘SMART’ that a volunteer killed and wounded two others as a result of the regime’s warplanes shelling Sarjeh village and its surroundings.”
The Syria Civil Defense also confirmed his death on its Facebook page.
The incident occured during the night.
