One civilian was reportedly killed in alleged Russian airstrikes on the city of Daret Izza, Aleppo governorate, on February 19th, 2020, according to SMART News Agency.
SMART reported that “on Wednesday, one person was killed as a result of aerial bombing by Russian warplanes on the city of Daret Izza, west of Aleppo, in northern Syria, in an escalation of the attack by the Syrian regime forces with Russian support in the area”.
A local source identified the victim as a civilian, adding that the airstrikes coincided with artillery shelling by regime forces, stationed in its headquarters in the the “46th Regiment.”
The local time of the incident is unknown.
