One civilian was reportedly killed in alleged Russian or Syrian regime air or artillery strikes on the town of Abdita, Idlib governorate, on February 23rd, 2020, according to local sources.
Shaam News Network reported that Russian and Syrian forces launched airstrikes amid artillery shelling that targeted several cities, towns, and villages in Idlib governorate. In Abdita, one civilian casualty was reported.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that “Mar’i Ahmad al Asa’ad was killed as Syrian regime forces’ artillery fired shells on Abdita village in Jabal al Zaweya area in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate, on February 23rd.”
SMART News Agency reported that, according to a Syrian Civil Defence, spokesperson, the civilian was killed as the result of artillery shelling by the Syrian regime.
