On February 24th 2022, one civilian, a municipal worker or employee of Kharkivgaz, was killed, and 23 civilians were reportedly wounded when alleged Russian rocket fire, machine gun fire, and grenade launchers hit the city of Chugeuv. Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group reported that three employees of Kharkivgaz were injured.

Various sources reported that a large fuel depot caught fire and Segodnya news reported that “a high pressure gas pipeline in the Izyum region was damaged.” As a result, more than 500 families in the village of Oskol and a school were temporarily without gas supply.
