At least two civilians were killed and three others were injured by alleged US airstrikes on a stone quarry in the Al-Arqoub area of Khawlan District, Sanaa, Yemen on March 26, 2025.
Houthi-affiliated source @TvAlmasirah reported on “Two martyrs and two wounded as a result of the US aggression on a stone quarry in the Al-Arqoub area of Khawlan District”. A Facebook post from Abu Saqr Abu Saqr Al-Shawkani provided additional details about the victims, “citizens who have no guilt”: Sadiq Ali Muhammad al-Banna and Hussein Awad Ali al-Ba’jur were killed and Abdulqader Saeed al-Ba’jur, Radfan Nasser Ali al-Ba’jur, and Ali Saeed al-Ba’jur were injured – all males. While some of the victims may have been related, based on their surnames, none of the sources specified so. Another post from Daraan Mohammed which also provided the above named victims included images of two adult men, reportedly among the victims. One man is pictured wearing a plaid suit jacket with a floral headband and a traditional jambiya dagger on his belt while the other man is pictured wearing a maroon button-up shirt and plaid suit jacket with a shemagh headscarf.
Images posted by @ansarollah_ye reportedly show damage to the stone quarry, where what appear to be metal parts are seen strewn among piles of stones. Another image includes a heavily damaged truck.
A post from Alhadath Yemen reported that US strikes “targeted” Houthis sites in the “Al-Arqoub” area.
Images posted by @Yemen_YF and @yemennownews have not been archived within this incident as they have been identified as images relating to different events in Yemen from previous air campaigns.

Reports of the incident mention the Khawlan District (مديرية خولان). Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to find boundaries for the neighbourhood and to verify the location further. The generic coordinates for Khawlan are: 15.281190, 44.745810.
